Description
The soft band is intended for infants and children who do not yet have (or for some reason cannot get) an implant, but who nevertheless can benefit from a bone conduction solution or adults who want to experience the benefits of Ponto before having an implant placed.
The soft band consists of a 15mm wide latex free adjustable elastic band with a plastic connector disc for the Oticon Medical sound processors.
The unilateral soft band can be adjusted in length and is available in 14 colours.
Long-term use of the soft band
Be sure to rotate the soft band regularly to prevent the
connector disc from pressing against the same area for too long as
this may cause discomfort. The disc can be placed in different
positions for different situations - such as when the child is in a
pram or child seat.
