We often get questions from customers about products for use with their computers.
For listening to PC audio, in general, computers have a standard 3.5mm socket on them for plugging in headphones. On older computers, this socket is on the back, but newer models tend to have sockets on the front for ease of access.
Between us, we can 'boldly send you with your direct input leads and assistive listening devices, anywhere a pair of ordinary headphones can go' and this includes the headphone socket on your computer!
The simplest way to access VoIP technology, including programs such as Skype, is often to make use of this headphone socket. You can plug in headphones/neck loop/earhooks etc. and use this with a separate microphone, (either built in or external) to send and receive audio over the internet. Alternatively, we can offer a range of other solutions.
