Connecting a Phonak Roger On, Select or Pen system into a telephone offers a great quality of telephone sound for hearing aid users.
This Connevans manufactured adaptor 'Y' cable with 3.5mm connector, allows users to connect their Roger microphone directly into a telephone system via a standard JPL/Plantronics connector - for use with a Plantronics headset.
The headset is worn around the neck (rather than over the ears) and is used for the microphone function only - listening will be via the Roger microphone.
Many people in office environments already have JPL/Plantronics headset systems, in which case this cable is an ideal addition allowing you to use your Roger microphone with the standard, pre-installed equipment in your workplace.
If you don't already have a JPL/Plantronics headset system, we recommend our Office Telephone Pack as a more popular solution - please see Associated Items on right. This includes a collar-worn microphone which we find is generally more popular than the headset solution.
