All hearing aids should be visually checked every day, particularly the earmoulds. They must be kept clean, dry, free from wax and the tubing should be checked for cracks and damage. Re-tubing an earmould is simple and straightforward and can make a real difference to the hearing aid user.
The Connevans Guide to Hearing Aid Care (which can be found below) give full details of how to re-tube an earmould.
