Description
Connecting a radio aid system into a telephone offers the best possible quality of telephone sound for hearing aid users. This microphone is suitable for use with the Phonak Roger Pen or Oticon Streamer Pro/Ponto Streamer.
This Connevans manufactured adaptor collar microphone allows users to connect their Roger Pen/Streamer directly into a telephone system via a standard Plantronics connector. Many people in office environments already have Plantronics headset systems, in which case this cable is an ideal addition allowing you to use your Roger system with the standard, pre-installed equipment in your workplace.
When used with an Roger Pen or Oticon Streamer, the complete
system provides a high quality hands-free telephone/telesales
facility which may literally make the difference between being able
to work or not. It is suitable for use with virtually all telephone
systems, both analogue and digital. The easily shaped, flexible
goose-neck collar microphone is comfortable to wear around the neck
and leaves the hands free for keyboard entry.
If you don't already have a Plantronics headset system, you may be interested in 3PRPK5D which is a system pack, built to include this cable and microphone plus the necessary Plantronics equipment.
The cable has a 3.5mm plug and is designed to be connected to
the Phonak Roger Pen base station. The Pen can continue to
charge when used with the phone. If you are using this with a
Streamer Pro or Ponto Streamer, the cable connects into the 3.5mm
headset socket on the base of the Streamer.
