Some recent televisions do not have traditional SCART or
analogue audio output connections, making this pack essential
when you wish to connect to an fmGenie or other radio aid
transmitter.
The pack includes an adaptor with both coaxial and optical digital audio input sockets, with a switch to select between the two.
The adapter is powered by a UK mains power supply (included). A 1m optical Toslink cable and a 0.5m coaxial digital audio connection cable are included, as is a phono to 3.5mm stereo plug lead to connect to the radio aid transmitter auxiliary input socket.
Compatible with fmGenie transmitters and also Phonak Roger Touchscreen Mic, Roger Pen, inspiro, SmartLink+, ZoomLink+ and EasyLink+ transmitters.
Helpful hint - when connecting to an fmGenie transmitter, you make sure you have an aerial or a lapel microphone plugged into the "mic" socket and remember to press the star/mute button.
Helpful hint 2 - the optical cable is supplied with protective plastic caps on each end, which you need to remove before you use it!
Helpful hint 3 - in some cases you will need to use the TV
on-screen menu to select a standard 2-channel stereo audio
output.
