This inductive silhouette earhook with 3.5mm plug is for use with one post aural hearing aid. It is worn by simply placing over the ear beside the aid. The earhook provides an inductive output for use with the hearing aid T input. It is wired for mono operation - if used in a stereo socket only the left channel will be heard.
Please note as shown below we also offer a MusicLink 50/50 for use with one hearing aid and an earpiece for the other ear.
iPhones note: All iPhones have a 3.5mm jack plug designed to function with standard headphones and the MusicLink+. To use the MusicLink+ during phone conversations keep the MusicLink+ in place and use the phone by holding it about 200mm in front of your mouth. If you hear any buzzing just position the phone until it stops.
With 3.5mm plug. Lead length approx. 1m

Been through 2 of these as the wire is so thin and fragile, especially where it enters the hook part. I recommend reinforcing it with heat shrink, otherwise don't bother with these. Connevans note. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we would like to point out that there have been design improvements since you last purchased in 2013.

NOT JUST LEFT CHANNEL despite what the blurb said before I ordered it, if you plug this hook into a stereo output socket you hear what's on both left and right channels. I'm pleased with this so far but as I've only just got it I don't know how well it will last.

We’ve been buying these for years for our deaf daughter. They make it possible for her to hear audio at near-normal levels on phones, computers, or other adaptable audio. I say “near-normal” only because she wears one hearing aid; her other ear is completely deaf, and she doesn’t get the stereo experience. But as another reviewer noted, you do get both right and left channels, they’re just combined into one. The wires last a good while but like all such they’ll eventually break. We’ve recently tried shrink wrap and it works, but even better we used Sugru moldable glue, which is easy to use and dries to rubber. It’s also neat and unobtrusive in appearance if you’re careful in using it. It’s available online, including on Amazon.

Very similar to the CLHook7, this product works really well because it is right next to the hearing aid, so the volume is excellent. It works with my iphone, ipad and laptop, simply by plugging it in and switching my hearing aid to 't' mode. The only downside is the wire becomes detached from loop in time and it then is irreparable. Otherwise it would be 5*. My last one lasted about a year, but I used it daily. Highly recommended.
